KlaymanToskes Acting for Several Andrew Miles Clients Seeking Compensation for EcoVest Syndicated Conservation Easement Claims

ATLANTA, GA, UNITED STATES, October 6, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — The national securities law practice KlaymanToskes has submitted a $2.8 million FINRA arbitration claim against The Strategic Financial Alliance, Inc. and Green Vista Capital, LLC. The claim was filed on behalf of a married couple that incurred losses and significant tax-related penalties tied to syndicated conservation easement products suggested by former broker Andrew Miles (CRD# 5986774). The matter has been designated FINRA Case No. 26-2133.

KlaymanToskes is currently representing multiple Andrew Miles clients in cases concerning EcoVest and other syndicated conservation easement offerings. Those who purchased conservation easements through Miles, The Strategic Financial Alliance, or Green Vista Capital are urged to reach out to attorney Lawrence L. Klayman, Esq. at 888-997-9956 or investigations@klaymantoskes.com for a complimentary and private consultation to examine their possible avenues for recovery.

The Statement of Claim asserts that Miles, while affiliated with The Strategic Financial Alliance and Green Vista Capital, advised the married couple to put money into a series of syndicated conservation easements, including those sponsored by EcoVest Capital. The couple had no background in conservation easements and depended on Miles and the brokerage firms to research the investments, assess their suitability, and outline the associated risks.

Per the claim, the conservation easements were marketed as valid, IRS-sanctioned arrangements approved by Congress to encourage the protection of land and natural resources. The investors were allegedly informed they could claim charitable contribution deductions of roughly four times their invested amounts, with the valuations supporting those deductions backed by several independent appraisals.

Nevertheless, the claim contends that the brokerage firms neglected to properly scrutinize or disclose the investments’ considerable valuation, tax, audit, penalty, liquidity, concentration, and regulatory risks. When the charitable contribution deductions linked to the investments were subsequently contested, lowered, or denied, the investors allegedly sustained around $2.8 million in damages, covering investment losses, extra tax obligations, IRS penalties, statutory interest, professional fees, and lost investment potential.

“These investors say they placed their trust in their financial advisor and brokerage firms to decide whether these complicated, tax-focused investments were sound and suitable,” said Lawrence L. Klayman, Managing Partner of KlaymanToskes. “Investors who were advised to buy EcoVest or other syndicated conservation easements and now face rejected deductions, tax bills, penalties, interest, or other monetary losses should be aware of their legal options and potential recovery paths.”

According to FINRA BrokerCheck, Miles was registered with The Strategic Financial Alliance from 2011 through 2018 and with Green Vista Capital from 2018 through 2021. As of October 5, 2026, his BrokerCheck record shows 31 customer disputes, including 16 pending and 15 resolved cases.

Investors who have experienced losses tied to EcoVest or other syndicated conservation easements recommended by Andrew Miles are encouraged to contact KlaymanToskes at 888-997-9956 or investigations@klaymantoskes.com for a free and confidential consultation to explore their potential recovery options.
