RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA, UNITED STATES, October 5, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — When the Fontana Unified School District Office of Family and Community Engagement (FACE) found itself with seven pallets of brand-new clothing to give away, its allies at Walden Family Services immediately knew whom to contact – ArrowHeart Foundation, the 501(c)(3) arm of Arrowhead Credit Union. Throughout 2026, ArrowHeart has been steadily handing out outfits, already exceeding the 800 pieces donated in 2025, with close to 2,000 outfits distributed in the current year. From its very start, ArrowHeart has aimed to support the communities it serves and forge enduring connections with partners that share its vision.
"We're very grateful for the partnership between Fontana Unified School District and Arrowhead Credit Union,” said Carlos Lopez, District Community Aide with the Office of Family and Community Engagement. “It's not just about banking; I see ArrowHeart going out to neighborhoods and helping families, students, and the unhoused. That's something we do as well. I’m looking forward to our continued partnership and collaboration for years to come.”
The ArrowHeart crew organized the contribution into full ensembles for both children and adults. Each set consisted of bottoms, a pair of shirts, socks, undergarments, and, for chillier areas, a coat. Up to now, Harbor City College's resource center has been given clothing for students facing hardship, while Hearts & Lives in Crestline has gotten jackets and winter apparel for its colder mountain setting. Community's Child in Torrance is set to hand out clothes to families and elderly individuals in poverty soon, with more distributions planned down the line.
“Our partnerships with both Walden Family Services and FACE are a true alliance,” said Stefanie Villalobos, Arrowhead Credit Union Vice President of Philanthropy and Community Impact and ArrowHeart Foundation Executive Director. “With this massive donation, we not only were able to give more, but we were also able to create new relationships that will benefit more in our communities.”
Walden Family Services is a Southern California nonprofit agency that aids foster-age youth and young families with foster care, adoption, transitional housing, education, employment, and support services. ArrowHeart Foundation and Walden Family Services have collaborated for the last three years. Their trust in ArrowHeart's capability to sort and distribute clothing donations is why they linked ArrowHeart with FACE.
“We are grateful to be a trusted partner in our communities,” said Villalobos. “At ArrowHeart, we bring thoughtful, purposeful solutions to help our communities grow together.”
ArrowHeart Foundation was founded by Arrowhead Credit Union in 2013 as a 501(c)(3) foundation with the goal of returning to the communities the Credit Union serves. The Foundation collaborates with other 501(c)(3) groups—and also contributes directly to the community—through volunteer efforts, food and clothing donations, handing out life essential bags to the unhoused, and academic scholarship awards. In total, the Foundation stages more than 100 events each year and satisfies countless donation requests from community partners.
