This newest rollout extends Renew Financial’s residential PACE offering to 42 municipalities in Los Angeles County and 370 jurisdictions statewide
BURBANK, CA, UNITED STATES, October 6, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Renew Financial, a frontrunner and innovator in residential Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) financing, has announced that its residential PACE financing is now accessible to qualifying homeowners in Burbank, Artesia, and Lakewood, marking another step in the program’s broader reach across Los Angeles County.
The Burbank City Council greenlit participation in Renew Financial’s PACE program on August 25, with Artesia and Lakewood having already given their approvals earlier in the summer.
Following these additions, Renew Financial’s residential PACE financing is now offered in 42 municipalities throughout Los Angeles County and 370 jurisdictions across California, widening the pathway to funding for qualifying energy-efficiency, water-conservation, and resiliency upgrades.
“We are thrilled to add Burbank, Artesia, and Lakewood to the expanding roster of California communities where Renew Financial’s PACE program is accessible,” said Vinay Gupta, CEO of Renew Financial. “Residents throughout California are seeking practical solutions for meaningful home upgrades. Broadening PACE gives more homeowners another financing avenue to pursue projects that boost their homes’ efficiency and resilience.”
Under PACE, eligible homeowners can fund approved home enhancements, such as roofing, HVAC systems, solar panels, energy storage, windows and doors, and water-saving initiatives. Repayment occurs over time via a voluntary assessment added to the homeowner’s property tax bill.
PACE qualification depends on elements like property equity, mortgage and property tax payment track record, and the homeowner’s repayment capacity. A credit review is mandatory, yet a credit score does not factor into eligibility decisions. The program incorporates consumer safeguards, including ability-to-repay underwriting, full disclosures, and contractor stipulations.
This growth builds on Renew Financial’s established footprint in California, where the firm has financed more than $1 billion in efficiency, energy, and resiliency projects across participating communities. These efforts are projected to conserve over 2.7 billion gallons of water and 1.2 billion kWh of electricity, while also supporting the creation of roughly 13,000 local jobs*.
