ZMED is building two software platforms that address different moments in surgical care—one aimed at generating a comprehensive procedural record and the other at assisting surgeons through live visualization and step-by-step direction during an operation.
Though created separately, CloudCapture and the Surgeon's Video Toolkit are meant to function together, linking the procedural record with real-time intraoperative support throughout the surgical journey.
ZMED will showcase CloudCapture, a platform for capturing and reviewing surgical video that turns it into an organized, searchable procedural record for documentation, review, education, and collaboration. The company will also preview early capabilities of the Surgeon's Video Toolkit, an emerging set of surgeon-controlled software tools for the OR, including live visualization, measurements, workflow, annotations, and procedural guidance.

The Surgeon's Video Toolkit is being built to aid surgeons during an operation with live visual workflow tools such as grids, overlays, timers, annotations, snapshots, procedural markers, workflow prompts, and future software-assisted features. The objective is to deliver helpful visual and contextual information without disturbing surgical flow or replacing the surgeon's judgment.
At ACS Clinical Congress, ZMED will invite surgeons, clinical leaders, and technology partners to engage with its development team, see live demonstrations, discuss clinical applications, and share feedback on how surgical video technology can better serve the surgical process.
