This initiative is organized by the Information Technology Development Agency (ITDA) of the Uttarakhand Government, advancing under the direction of Shri Pradeep Batra, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister for Information Technology, Government of Uttarakhand, with strategic guidance from DR. Pankaj Kumar Pandey, Secretary, Information Technology, and Shri Alok Pandey, Director, ITDA.
Operating under the theme “Build for Uttarakhand,” UKIS Hackathon 2026 aims to push innovation beyond mere competition toward tangible real-world effect, motivating participants to create scalable solutions in areas such as governance, tourism, agriculture, healthcare, environment, disaster resilience, mobility, and other emerging issues.
