LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, September 9, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Tyrannus Foundation has announced the LA AI Film Summit 2026, a fresh industry event centered on the swiftly changing intersection of artificial intelligence, cinema, and the entertainment sector.
Scheduled for October 24, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at City Club Los Angeles, the Summit will unite filmmakers, AI creators, producers, technology firms, founders, investors, and entertainment professionals for an afternoon of hands-on industry discussions, screenings, exhibits, and networking.
As generative AI progresses beyond experimental phases into practical production, the challenges confronting creators and entertainment companies are evolving as well.
The discussion is no longer solely about what AI can produce. Increasingly, filmmakers must grasp how to establish repeatable production pipelines, develop enduring careers, bring projects to market, handle copyright and intellectual property issues, and create viable business models around new forms of storytelling.
The LA AI Film Summit was designed around these issues.

A practical session on audience and market fit, distribution channels, festivals, platforms, branding, partnerships, sponsorships, and monetization.

A conversation focused on copyright, authorship, intellectual property, source materials, licensing, likeness and voice rights, contracts, and long-term ownership of AI-assisted creative projects.
In addition to the main-stage talks, the Summit will feature a Creator Lab within the Industry Exchange area, offering live demonstrations and tool showcases; a Screening Room presenting selected AI-driven works; and opportunities for creators to directly connect with technology platforms, production partners, and industry professionals.
The Summit will also host the Tyrannus Angel Awards ceremony, honoring creators worldwide who leverage artificial intelligence not merely to generate visuals, but to tell stories with emotional authenticity, creative vision, and the capacity to inspire. Hundreds of submissions have already been received from around the globe, with chosen finalist works to be screened during the event. The official list of finalists will be revealed on October 1, 2026.
Rather than framing AI as a substitute for filmmakers, the organizers say the Summit aims to explore how technology, creative authorship, and human storytelling can progress together.
“Technology can dramatically expand what an individual creator is capable of producing,” Chantel added. “But the future of film will still depend on taste, judgment, storytelling, relationships and human perspective. The opportunity is to understand how those things work together.”
