QILEE Group has unveiled the QL-SWTP 900K Series Integrated Surface Water Treatment System, a full-process solution capable of transforming heavily turbid and chemically complex river or lake water directly into high-grade industrial process water or potable municipal supplies.

With a total treatment capacity reaching 900,000 cubic meters daily, the QL-SWTP 900K unites pre-treatment, gravity clarification, and advanced nanofiltration (NF) within a single, automated configuration. This system is built to serve large-scale municipal water initiatives, water treatment facilities for massive industrial parks, river basin quality improvement projects, and pre-treatment operations for brackish water desalination in saline-alkali regions.

Technical Architecture and Performance

The QL-SWTP 900K functions in a continuous, fully automated manner across three distinct treatment zones:

  • Zone 1: Pre-treatment: This first stage employs dual-powered rotary drum screens delivering filtration precision between 20 and 100 micrometers. An integrated, intelligent PAC/PAM proportional dosing system supports this zone to optimize chemical usage.
  • Zone 2: Gravity Clarification: Built for exceptionally low operational costs, this zone relies on a zero-energy gravity-flow design that consumes no electricity whatsoever. Each module handles 50,000 cubic meters per hour, eliminating over 95 percent of suspended solids (SS) through natural settling.
  • Zone 3B: Advanced Treatment: The concluding stage incorporates a large-scale nanofiltration (NF) skid with a single-unit capacity of 300,000 cubic meters per day. This phase achieves highly efficient removal of total organic carbon (TOC), color, and multivalent ions. The NF technology ensures consistent, high-quality water output regardless of seasonal variations in raw river water quality.

Production, Deployment, and Automation

During the R&D phase, QILEE engineers refine the system’s sedimentation units using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations. All skid-mounted components are standardized, produced, and coated with specialized anti-corrosion finishes at QILEE’s digital factory. Prior to shipping, each unit undergoes comprehensive Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) to guarantee immediate plug-and-play readiness at the deployment site.

The modular, skid-mounted design enables fast deployment, cutting on-site installation time by roughly 60 percent compared to conventional concrete water treatment plants. In terms of operation, the system supports fully automated PLC/DCS remote control and allows operators to monitor water quality in real time via mobile devices.

Target Markets and Field Validation

The QL-SWTP 900K Series is primarily aimed at municipal water utilities, EPC contractors, large steel and chemical manufacturing operations, and environmental engineering firms. Key geographic markets include major coastal industrial zones, Southeast Asia, Central Asia, and the Middle East—specifically large-scale EPC infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The automated, energy-efficient design has already proven itself in the field. A project manager overseeing an overseas municipal water supply initiative remarked: “QILEE’s gravity system has performed exceptionally well in remote areas. It not only saved significant electricity costs but also solved the challenge of limited local maintenance personnel through its fully automated design.”
