Her practical experience shaping federal and global technology policy at one of Arizona’s premier semiconductor firms provides PEI with direct access to the expertise required to enhance Arizona’s standing in the global innovation economy.
Côté succeeds Steven Gray, who recently stepped down from the PEI board after representing onsemi’s involvement in the organization’s strategic efforts. Her appointment continues onsemi’s active collaboration with PEI during a crucial phase for Arizona’s semiconductor industry. The CHIPS and Science Act has directed billions of dollars in investment toward Arizona’s semiconductor manufacturing sector, and PEI’s efforts to align workforce development, policy advocacy, and infrastructure with the semiconductor industry’s demands make Côté’s background a fitting and timely addition to the board.
Côté’s expertise directly corresponds with PEI’s 2026 priorities for the semiconductor and technology sector, which include promoting the federal Advanced Manufacturing Investment Tax Credit, building K-12 STEM talent pipelines for semiconductor employers, and supporting the regulatory and infrastructure policies that bolster Arizona’s expanding role in domestic technology manufacturing.

Côté holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from McGill University and has completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School and Santa Clara University.
