During its debut year, BoardWise started bringing in revenue while boosting registrations and sales in numerous states and occupations. Nurses, social workers, physicians, psychologists, and other credentialed professionals have turned to the platform to handle complaints, investigations, continuing education audits, mandatory self-reports, probation issues, renewals, and various other licensing challenges.
Those cases have already achieved significant results, including dismissal of complaints, early probation release, successful audit completions, and self-reporting situations that ended without disciplinary action.
The previous year also saw several key collaborations. BoardWise has partnered with Anthropic, the Justice Technology Association, MedBridge, and SimplePractice as it continues developing a wider ecosystem encompassing professional licensing, risk management, legal assistance, and access to justice.
BoardWise has further extended its presence through connectors within ChatGPT and Claude, enabling professionals to tap into BoardWise resources and advice from the AI platforms they increasingly rely on daily. Simultaneously, the company has been steadily building a state-by-state network of attorneys ready to assist users when a case demands direct legal counsel.
As it moves into its second year, the company also welcomes an expanded executive team.
Megan Jeans has joined BoardWise as Chief Legal Innovation Officer. A Harvard-trained lawyer, Megan brings expertise in intellectual property law, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, LexisNexis, and corporate governance. Her career includes creating and scaling legal technology products and teams, as well as serving organizations across both for-profit and nonprofit sectors.
Nathan Bourgoin has come on board as Chief Technical Officer. Nathan is a master’s-level software engineer with experience at Amazon, Audible, Microsoft, and various startups. His background involves building and scaling technology products and engineering teams through periods of rapid growth and company exits.
