Artificial intelligence can summarize books, analyze data, generate concepts, and suggest next moves within moments. As these abilities continue transforming how individuals operate, leadership advisor Donna Brighton contends they also pose a distinct question that is getting much less focus.

As women live longer and AI gets smarter, Vision & Vines creates space to answer one question technology never can: What's next?

You'll leave Vision & Vines having done something most goal setting never asks of you: stop chasing outcomes and achievements. Instead, you will declare, out loud, who you're becoming next.”— Donna BrightonSCOTTSDALE, AZ, UNITED STATES, July 23, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — If technology grows ever more adept at delivering answers, which questions become even more vital for humans to resolve on their own?
Brighton today introduced Vision & Vines, an exclusive four-day getaway crafted around one such inquiry: Who do I want to become next?
The program emerges as two major developments intersect. AI is quickly reshaping how people think and work, while women who turn fifty today can anticipate many more decades ahead of them. Brighton believes this blend makes deliberate contemplation more valuable, not less.
Instead of opposing artificial intelligence, Brighton integrated it into the early phase of the journey. Prior to arriving in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, each attendee uses Clarity Companion™, an AI-powered thinking partner designed for busy women who dislike journaling. It assists in sorting ideas, developing building blocks to design their future, and preparing for more profound reflection at the retreat.
During Vision & Vines, technology is deliberately put aside. The emphasis shifts from collecting more information to posing better questions and listening closely to one’s inner voice.
“We’re asking the wrong question about artificial intelligence,” Brighton said. “Most people want to know what jobs it will replace. I’m more interested in what kinds of thinking become even more valuable because AI exists. Technology can help us organize our thinking. It cannot decide what kind of life is worth building. It cannot replace our intuition or inner wisdom.”
Throughout the retreat, participants craft a Vision Declaration™, a personal statement that clarifies who they aim to become and how they wish to live, lead, and shape the upcoming decades.
“A vision board defines what you want,” Brighton said. “A Vision Declaration defines who you’re becoming.”
The getaway is steered by Brighton’s Success Operating System™, a structure honed through nearly thirty years of guiding leaders through growth, ambiguity, career shifts, and major life choices. The same method that has helped executives bring sharper clarity to intricate decisions is now applied to one of life’s most pivotal transitions: intentionally deciding how to spend the years ahead.
The spark for Vision & Vines came unexpectedly during Brighton’s own reflective period. After a portrait session, she found herself contemplating who she was evolving into, the possibilities for her future, and the lessons gathered over 55 years. She composed what became her own Vision Declaration, a touchstone for the future she is consciously building. That personal journey formed the basis for the retreat.
“I realized I had spent years helping leaders create clarity inside their organizations,” Brighton said. “The next challenge was creating space for accomplished women to create that same clarity about their own lives. AI can help us think more efficiently. It cannot tell us who we are becoming. That work will always belong to us.”
Vision & Vines is situated among the vineyards of Oregon’s Willamette Valley during harvest season, where the vineyard’s rhythm provides a quiet contrast to the speed of contemporary life. The location is deliberate. In a world that constantly prizes quicker answers, the retreat carves out room for slower questions—those that steer the direction of the decades ahead.
Christy Agee serves as the experience and hospitality partner for Vision & Vines. As founder of The Curated Course, a luxury travel advisor, WSET Level 3 wine professional, and passionate advocate for the power of meaningful experiences to unite people, her talent lies in anticipating details so participants can simply exhale, be fully present, and savor conversations, the people, the place, and the moment, along with the rare luxury of having nowhere else to be. Wine is available for those who enjoy it, but the emphasis is on what emerges when accomplished women finally have space to think.
Vision & Vines runs from October 25 through October 28, 2026. Hosted at The Allison Inn & Spa in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, the retreat pairs a thoughtfully designed environment with discussions that invite participants to slow down enough to hear their own thinking once more. Participation is intentionally capped at fifteen women to promote meaningful conversation and authentic connection. Enrollment starts with a personal conversation with Donna Brighton to assess mutual fit. Further details can be found at donnabrighton.com/vision-and-vines.
