Tech innovator Elon Musk has added a new member to his animal family with the adoption of Sapphire, a sweet young Siamese mix from Austin Siamese Rescue. The news comes exclusively from the rescue organization itself, as Musk has not yet made any public announcement.

Meet Sapphire: Personality and Background
Sapphire is a young female Siamese mix, approximately 1 year old. She has a cream-colored body with a tiger-striped tail and beautiful Lynx Point markings with tiger stripes on her forehead and face. Small, short-haired, and full of charm, she was spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and house-trained prior to adoption.
Her foster described her as initially shy but quick to purr and relax once trust is built. Sapphire loves being held while standing and will melt with loud purrs, though she prefers to hop down once her person sits. She enjoys covered cat beds, fuzzy blankets, and independent play sessions that can last for hours.
Sapphire’s Playful Side and Needs
An active and entertaining cat, Sapphire goes wild for catnip kickers, string toys, and especially her kitty tunnel — where she playfully swats at passersby. She loves chase games with other cats and would thrive with a confident feline playmate. Sapphire drinks from bubbling fountains, enjoys both wet and dry food, and is always ready for treats. Her foster summed her up perfectly: “She is so sweet and playful and hilarious!!”
