Jibe, SMUD and Councilmember Lisa Kaplan invite residents to test-drive electric vehicles and ride commuter and cargo e-bikes in a no-pressure environment.

SACRAMENTO, CA, UNITED STATES, August 14, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — People in the Sacramento region who want to learn about electric transportation can try it out directly at the Electric Ride & Drive Expo scheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2026, at the ONE Natomas Farmers Market.

Organized by North Natomas Jibe alongside SMUD and District 1 Councilmember Lisa Kaplan, this event allows visitors to take the wheel of an electric car, try out various e-bike styles, and discover how electric transportation might work for their everyday routines.

The Expo runs from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon at North Natomas Regional Park, situated at 2501 New Market Drive in Sacramento.

Unlike typical car dealerships, the Electric Ride & Drive Expo creates a low-pressure setting with no sales pitches. Participants can check out different mobility options, pose practical questions, and compare electric cars and e-bikes without any purchase obligation.

Attendees will be able to:
* Get behind the wheel of several electric vehicles provided by SMUD.
* Take a spin on a range of e-bikes.
* Chat with experienced exhibitors about the newest e-bike and electric vehicle technology.
* Weigh different electric transportation choices all in one handy spot.
* Find out how e-bikes and EVs could assist with commuting, running errands, and other daily travel.
* Browse the ONE Natomas Farmers Market while participating in the Expo.

Mike’s Bikes and RADLife Mobility will showcase a selection of commuter and cargo e-bikes, including models from Serial 1. SMUD will bring an array of electric vehicles for attendees to inspect and test-drive.

By gathering cars, bicycles, and transportation specialists in a single accessible community venue, the Expo helps residents move past online browsing and experience electric mobility personally. Whether someone is thinking about an EV, seeking an e-bike capable of hauling groceries, or just curious about what electric choices exist, they can compare possibilities and get their inquiries answered face-to-face.

The Electric Ride & Drive Expo takes place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the ONE Natomas Farmers Market inside North Natomas Regional Park.
