DURHAM, NC, UNITED STATES, August 13, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Drummond Group, LLC, a reputable organization specializing in interoperability and security testing for B2B and B2G software, has revealed the completion of its 2026 AS4 interoperability test event. A total of six products from four vendors—Axway, CData Software, Cleo, and IBM Corporation—proved they meet AS4 specification standards.

Drummond’s AS4 testing assesses compliance with the AS4 specification through an extensive test matrix. Evaluated products included Axway B2Bi 2.6 and Activator 6.1, CData Arc 26.3.9678.0, Cleo Integration Cloud (Cleo LexiCom, Cleo VLTrader, and Cleo Harmony version 6.0), IBM DataPower Gateway V11.0, IBM webMethods B2B module for AS4 10.1, and IBM webMethods B2B SaaS 11.2.80. Each product was successfully tested over both HTTP and HTTPS connections, proving their ability to work together across various communication protocols.

Drummond’s testing approach utilizes InSitu, a proprietary full-matrix framework that automates test case execution while lessening the coordination load on participants. This method enables vendors to focus on fixing their implementations instead of managing testing logistics. Those joining the program for the first time receive thorough technical support from Drummond during the pre-certification phase, guaranteeing that products satisfy InSitu requirements before formal testing commences.

The certification procedure builds on a proven regression testing method. Each test event runs multiple automated cases against live systems, identifying interoperability problems before products go into production. This practice protects vendors’ customers by ensuring that certified products function reliably across AS4 deployments.

“AS4 conformance across these six products demonstrates real interoperability at scale,” stated Patrick Paschall, Director of Information Security & Interoperability Services at Drummond. “When vendors successfully test against this breadth of implementations, buyers gain confidence that AS4 will work reliably in their environment. That confidence matters as adoption accelerates globally.”

The complete AS4 Final Report, the full list of newly certified products, and test registration information are accessible on the Drummond website at https://www.drummondgroup.com/certified-products/b2b-interoperability/#as4.

About AS4

AS4, an OASIS B2B messaging standard, was finalized by the OASIS ebXML Messaging Services (ebMS) Technical Committee. The intent and purpose of the development of AS4 was to define a simplified Conformance Profile of the ebMS v3.0 specification that would serve as a B2B on-ramp for Web Services document exchange.
