The facility is also employing HeyAmba, Amba’s AI‑powered assistant, which functions as a round‑the‑clock helper that care teams can query in real time. Staff members can ask, “HeyAmba, who is currently out of bed?” or “Which residents are showing declining sleep health?” and get instant answers that guide care decisions.
Aravilla Sarasota initially installed Amba in November 2025, and within just one month of deployment, the community recorded zero falls in its monitored memory care wing. The system has already flagged early indicators of potential health issues, such as urinary tract infections, enabling staff to act sooner and possibly avert preventable hospital stays.
Amba’s proactive, passive monitoring platform relies on discreet sensors and clinical oversight to continuously observe resident activity without cameras, wearables, or invasive equipment. This technology enhances resident care by supplying care teams with actionable data that can be shared with families and medical providers.
