Silverton Partners leads the round as the platform combines AI and law firms to pursue corporate wrongdoing at scale and arm itself to champion privacy rights.
When a company quietly buries a hidden fee or violates a privacy promise, the odds are stacked heavily in its favor: only four percent of harmed consumers ever file a claim. That leaves American corporations and major tech firms with a simple calculation — breaking the law is cheaper than paying for compliance.
Chariot Claims, a consumer AI platform designed to streamline consumer protection claims, announced today that it has secured $10 million in Series A funding to flip that equation. Mike Dodd, General Partner at Silverton Partners, led the round, with backing from Indicator Ventures, Lightbank, Neon Fund, ZVC, Rosecliff Venture Partners, Alumni Ventures, FJ Labs, Graph Ventures, Vermilion Ventures, and other notable angels.
The company, which has more than doubled its workforce this year by pulling in talent from leading AI labs, Rocket Money, Rippling, and Twitch, plans to channel the capital into expanding its AI capabilities, scaling operations, and preparing for legal pushback from large corporations.
Chariot’s core function is helping consumers spot potential corporate violations, check whether they qualify for recourse, and seek compensation through a network of partner law firms. The platform now processes over 200,000 pre-qualified claims each month, largely in mass arbitration cases involving Fortune 500 companies.
“When a company breaks the law and breaks what it promises to its consumers, the consumer rarely seeks justice,” said Mike Dodd, General Partner at Silverton Partners. “Chariot has built the technology to make individual consumer claims work at scale, and the team to operate it in a category where execution is genuinely hard.”
For most people, corporate litigation conjures images of junk-mail notices, years of waiting, and class action checks worth a couple of dollars.
Chariot takes a different route. Instead of pooling everyone into a single class-action lawsuit, it relies on mass actions and mass arbitration — coordinating thousands of individually represented claims. That approach gives consumers more control and opens the door to far better payouts: an estimated average of $460 through Chariot, versus $32 per the CFPB’s analysis of class action settlements.
Historically, this model was impractical at scale due to the overwhelming administrative workload. Chariot’s AI-native platform removes that barrier by detecting patterns of potential misconduct, matching consumers to relevant cases, and coordinating their individual claims with partner law firms. The outcome is a single, trusted hub where consumers can uncover potential claims, qualify in minutes, and seek compensation alongside others affected by the same conduct.
Just over a year after pivoting to mass actions, Chariot says it has already received multiple threats of litigation from defendants in Chariot-supported cases — a sign, the company argues, that the platform is hitting its mark.
"We raised this round to take on the Goliath megacorps," said Zim Hang, Founder and CEO of Chariot Claims. "They're already using bullying tactics and financial leverage to threaten us and quiet the legal process. This capital lets us accelerate our tech to even the playing field, as well as invest in consumer privacy rights, education, and protective legislation.”

Why it matters: This funding signals a growing shift in how consumer legal claims are pursued — moving from slow, low-payout class actions to tech-enabled mass arbitration that puts more power and money back into individuals’ hands. If Chariot succeeds in scaling this model, it could force corporations to reconsider the cost-benefit calculus of misconduct.
